Why my ethernet works for laptop but not PC jd782008-10-26 03:46:40

Just installed some ethernet jacks. They all connects well to my laptop but none conects to my desktop PCs (2 different ones).

Both PCs had message: cable is unplugged. But I am sure all cables are properly connected.

Could someone tell what's the problem? Thanks in advance.

台式机太老，不能自动识别cable种类 ethernet有两种线

It's possible. Would an upgrade of PCI card sofeware

use the right cable / 那个东西不是软件能搞定的
