Yesterday, I tried download a crack for Winzip 12.0 and downloaded the keygen and crack from this website, http://xwarezzz.com/arhivators/1313/winzip-1208252-keygen-crack-serial-patch.html. I did not noticed there was a warning by another guy about Trojan. 4 minutes after running the keygen or crack, my computer freeze. I can not open anything even my computer though the mouse moving is still under my control. I reset the computer and booted to another system which is Vista 64 and ran the Mcafee scan for the Win XP 32 partition. Only found that even the system*.exe was effected by the virus. After the scan, the Macfee said all the problem has been fixed. But when I tried to boot to Win XP 32, it is not successful. After the running of the booting bar, the monitor lost the signal and the computer reboot.
Anyway, that is a long story with no caution of downloading. Short question is how to repair the virus effected Windows XP. Do you think replace the virus effect files with fresh one would solve the problem? I do not want to re-install the Win XP as I have several systems on the computer and every system is depends on the booting manager which is located on the same partition as Win XP. Thanks in advance.
