Just got the 4x dual-X1 from staples for $30 AR (2/10 Tuesday deal, anyone got it?).

It's OEM of pioneer 106. Flashed it with RPC-1 pioneer firmware v1.07 and it rips DVD movies at 6x!

Very good drive. At 2003 Las Vegas CES Pioneer demoed dual layer DVD burning with 106 by using a new firmware.
