a win98 laptop, use pcmcia card to connect to lan/internet/homenetwork. worked without problems for about 3 monthes. i was happy.
now the pc card stops without reason, every so often, very annoying, and it can not reconnect, you have to restart computer.
the card is brand new, the cable has been changed for the possible bad connection, what else could be the sourse of such problem? i have a pc card harddrive and a cdromdrive, both worked well. i am really comfused about this,please your master help me on this. the message from win98 is "unexpected pc card removal....." but i did nothing at the moment,then the indicator turns off.
