how to edit a PDF file kf_ying2004-05-18 20:02:14

can a pdf file be edited? I don't mean to create a pdf file. I download acrobat professional 6.0, but seems it just added three buttons in MS Word to convert Word file to pdf file, and I don't see any function to edit an existing pdf file.
