I am a Comcast user live in one bed roon apartment.

I have two hosts (client machines) , one is Windows XP home edition, another is Win2K professional, they were using a linksys wirless access point (not router) to connect to Comcast modem to go to Internet, and everything was worked fine for past 12 months.

Since Comcast change their service policy that one user only dynamic assign one ip address recently, I paied additional 4.95/month to got another dynamic
ip address, but still have problem that Windows XP cannot connect to Internet although wireless signal show "Excellent" and I can view assigned ip address,
subnet mask ip address etc in network TCP/IP configuration setting, but cannot find DSN Server ip address.
I have tried to reboot wireless access point and machines, and even un-plug in modem power.

I tried to install Comcast CD in WindowsXP (cpu 1GB, memory 256MB) but it was hanging in back up registry.

Does any one has same experience or have some idea?
Thanks a lot.
