Then you can set up the Modem(very simple), connect to the coaxial cable (TV cable), plug another cable (provided with the Modem) to your computer, and enable your Ethernet Cable Card. Start to install: put the CD (in the installation kits) in the CD drive, following the setup steps untill get to a page required Account Number. Now, pick up the phone and call the comcast: 1-800-comcast, following and choosing the correct options untill you get to representative to get the account number. You will be asked three IDs on the Cable Modem. Once you get the number, you can continue to complete the setup. Now, you are online... cong.！
The reason I type this inf. here is that you don't need to spend money to ask comcast technician to install/setup for you. It is just so simple.
