DVD player problem, help! badDVD2003-10-29 23:47:00

badDVD2003-10-29 23:47:00

My DVD player suddenly can't play dvd, but vcd is ok, the error message is: This disc may not be played in this region. But the dvds are all authentic American dvds, not some fake, why is this?

Any ideas?
