How to read file data-loser2005-01-18 21:39:14

I have an old computer which is broken recently. And I bought a new Dell computer. I'd like to fix old hard drive in new computer to read my old file. But I'm afraid they are not matching and damage new one. How can I do? Any ideas? Thank you guys.
