Please recommand a Dell Laptop dell_or_not2005-02-18 05:39:05

I am thinking of getting a Dell laptop. Could someone explain to me which model is good for typical home use? I don't travel much. I have heard Inspiron 700m is light but probably too small. Is 600M a good choice? How about 1000 and 1150 or 5160? Would 7-8 lb be too heavy?

As I said I just need a basic one for home use. I am not a big gamer. Mostly just going on line and digital photo stuff.
