I was using an 80G hard disk(WD) as storage driver. After updated and saved my report on Excel (Office XP in Windows98), when I go back to check the file a few minutes later, the size of the file has got much bigger from about one two hundred KB changing as around 120MB. Same thing happened to some of other files. Some of them (including the Excel file I had just worked on) even got disappeared after I reboot the PC. The other PC with WinXP does scandisk while plugging in the “BAD” disk, showing lots of files turn invalid and some of them are “cross-linked”…………can someone have any idea to save some of these files?? Especially the Excel file I was working on??? Many thanks here!!!
