Hey, all

My computer (NEC Ready 9930) has three RAM (random access memory) sockets. A website that I visited says that the max. value, my RAM can be upgraded to, is 256MB. Currently I have a 64MB (socket 1), another 64MB (socket 2), and a 128MB (socket 3) for a total of 256MB RAM. But I do think that each and every of my sockets can support a 128MB RAM stick...so can I use three 128MB RAM modules for a total of 384MB which excessed the max. limit of 256MB.

And if I do so (use a 384MB total which is over 256MB), what would happen? do I get a 384MB RAM or it won't work?

Any help will be highly appreciated.
