Hi. Happy new year to everyone!!!

We purchased sth online on Nov.20. Unfortunately the package was lost during shipping at USPS. We are thinking about to ask our credit card company to chargeback.

1. Is there a time limit to file a chargeback? The transaction happened about 40 days ago. Do we still have chance to chargeback? For Visa card or Master card, it there any difference for their time limit?


2. What is the routine procedure to do the chargeback? Do we just call the credit card company? How do we present our evidence to show that we did not receive the product?

3. Do we need to fill in a form? Is it better to do everying in writing?

4. Any difference betwwen chargeback and dispute?

Thank you in advance for your time. Never done this before and try to get some ideas in advance.
