Amazon Prime Early Access Sale: Dates and what to expect
Amazon will hold a second Prime Day event on October 11 and 12.

Earlier this year, Amazon held the biggest Prime Day event ever with over 300 million items purchased worldwide. And now — just a few months later — the e-commerce giant is doing it again.
On Monday, Amazon announced that they're hosting a second Prime Day event in 2022, confirming rumors first reported by Insider. It's called "Prime Early Access Sale," and it will run from October 11 to October 12.
The two-day sales event will go live in 15 countries: the US, UK, Turkey, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Poland, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Italy, Germany, France, China, Canada, and Austria.
With the timing of the event, it's clear Amazon is aiming to cater to early holiday shoppers. And because of that, we're expecting the same quality of deals you'd find on Prime Day, if not better. To help with the gifting season, Amazon will be releasing its first-ever Top 100 list of this year's "most popular and giftable items," which will drop throughout the event.
Otherwise, Amazon is keeping details to a minimum. But you can expect deals across categories like electronics, home, kitchen, toys, and of course Amazon devices. Amazon's list of brands to expect include Peloton, New Balance, Philips Sonicare, Lego, Samsung and iRobot.
We also expect some early deals leading up to the Prime Early Access Sale. In fact, some early deals are available starting today, including a four-month free trial to Amazon Music Unlimited, or the opportunity to get an Echo Dot for 99 cents with a one-month subscription.
Like Prime Day, the Prime Early Access Sale is exclusively available to Amazon Prime subscribers. But as long as you sign up before the event ends on October 12, you'll be able to join in. It's one of the many benefits that Prime subscribers earn, and has the potential to save members enough money to repay their entire subscription at once.
This means that Amazon will have three major shopping holidays this Fall: Prime Early Access Sale, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. All three are sure to feature discounts on all sorts of items, both from major brand names and smaller shops.
