I am a Ph. D student here and have a F1 visa. I will get married at this Dec. My fiance is a US citizen. My wedding will be hold in US, but you know, according our chinese tradition, we got to have another wedding in my hometown. We planned to go back China just after our wedding here. But I am afraid of there will be a problem to apply F1 Visa if the officer know I just marry to a US citizen. Will they suggest me go to Guangzhou to apply immigrating visa ?
Maybe, the safe way is to go back before our wedding here. But if so, we cann't afford a long vacation if the holidays like Christmas and New Year.
I will appreciate your suggestions.
