I submitted my F1 visa applicatin today. The officer told me to wait because they need to do further processing work. They returned my I20 form and kept only my application form and employment letter. what does that mean and is it normal? Any comments are welcome.

I submit my employment letter because my last application for a F1 visa was turned down. The officer said that I had no strong tie to Cananda because I had no work. That is why I found a job for myself.
