My kid (USA citizen, 4 years old) went back to China to live with my parents for 2.5 years. She got travel permit from Chinese Consulate NY before she left for China. Now we are gonna bring her back in October. But now realize that her travel permit has expired 3 months ago. Will there be any problem when she leaves China at the airport checking point for a expired travel permit? I figure it will be ok for her to get into the US because she has US passport.
