I am a researcher in the University of Washington. Now
I am living in the New York State.
My green cards is pending, My I-140 Form had been
approved, and I am waiting for my I-485 form approval.
Last year,I got my I-131 form travel document that was
issued effective peroid from 25th of October 2004 to
5th of October 2005 for my entry into USA.
On 16th of April, I traveled and came back from
Vancouver,In the border between US and Canada,I used
my I-131 form travel document for the first time. The
US custom officer told me and explained to me that My
I-795 will valid one year peroid till 15th of April
2006. And he also issued the parole date in my I-131
and My passport as 15th of April 2006.
My question is that what is the real expired date of
my I-131 form travel document? It is 5th of October
2005 or 15th of April 2006? If I go to China after 5th
of October 2005, Am I going to have problem to come
back to USA?
