My hu*****and and I are trying to concurrently file I140 and I485. He is the principal applicant. Now I am in urgent need of your big favor.
1）In Part 2, I-485, Should my hu*****and check "a" or "h", and I check "b"? We are concurrently filing, how can he get a visa number?
"I am applying for an adjustment to permanent resident status because:
a)an immigrant petition giving me an immediately available immigrant visa number has been approved. ( Attach a copy of the approval notice...)
b)my spouse or parent applied for adjustment of status or was granted lawful permanent residence in an immigrant visa category that allows derivative status for spouses and childen.
h)Other basis of eligibility
2)I485 form Part 3, What is Non-immigrant visa number? is RED 8 digit number or Black control number on my visa page or I-94 number?
3) Do we need to file I-134 form, Affidavit of Support? Do I also need get this notarized? Or will his current employment letter be enough?
4) I140 form Part 6,SOC Code my hu*****and's job title is research fellow/associate at a cancer research institute. What is his SOC Code? I need some occupational code to find the specific SOC Code matching his titile. Could you tell me where I can find his occupation code?
5) Do we need to sumbit the tax filing records for both of us? Just federal tax?
