Hi everybody,

I filed a motion to reopen for my I-539 application which was denied at TSC. The denial letter of my I-539 application stated that "you must FILE your motion to reopen within thirty days."

I just did that. I submitted the motion on the 30th calendar day from the date of their decision letter, which should be WITHIN (equal or less) 30 days. I have post office receipt to prove.

However, i got a letter back from them saying that they RECEIVED the motion beyond the 30 days given. They are using the term: RECEIVED. Therefore, they dismissed my motion to reopen.

There is a big difference between when I filed the motion and when they reveived it.

Please advise what I should do.

Thanks a lot.
