I have a question to ask you guys. the whole story is like this:
The human resouce officer applied H1B for me and h4 for my wife last April, I got H1 approval notice and my wife did not get her H4 approval notice at that period of time, so, I asked the officer twice at the time, he told me that there was no any formal nitice for H4, I believed him.
recently, I heard from other friends that should have H4 notice, then I got to know that the officer did not file h4 correctly(he forgot to fill out I-539 and allow my wife to sign it). since my wife's F1 expired from Sep1, 2004, so, this mean my wife illegally stay in USA for more than 1 year, so, how do I deal with this serious issue? is there any lawful method to get my wife's H4 visa?
