I live in LA, my lawyer is Howard Hom. I don't know if anybody here knows him.
He submit L/C 2 years ago for me. He let me do regular processing instead of RIR. The reason is he is not sure if RIR can be converted to Perm in the future. However if I submit relugar L/C, he is sure my case can be transferred to Perm and my priority date can be kept.
But now, he said he cannot keep my priority date if I want to do Perm. He didn't give me the reason. I asked him several times, he just didn't answer.
I have some questions:
1. Should I do Perm even I will lost my priority date? I'm from mainland China.
2. If I do Perm, could anybody here recommend some good lawyer in LA to me?
3. One of my co-worker is from Taiwan, her L/C has been approved one month ago from 姜国梁姜国栋律师事务所. I talked with her lawyer, her lawyer told me currently the processing of Perm slows down. He is not sure when my L/C will be approved.
4. If I don't do Perm, just wait for my 传统劳工证申请，will that have any hope?
I'm very confused now! I'm afraid my lawyer (Howard Hom) didn't take good care of my case. And the other side I'm afraid of losing priority date!
I have to mention, one of my other co-worker did Perm from 姜国梁姜国栋律师事务所 at the same time, but her case haven't been approved yet.
