how to cancel case HEYO2005-10-04 14:45:05

Hi,ALL:

I want to case the NIW case because the EB1 has approved. I called the INS, they tell me that I need to write a letter, including personal info. and why to cancel, then notorized, sent back? is it OK? Anyone has the experience?
