After I experienced the whole process of the green card petition, I found that we do not necessairly need a lawyer for the petition if we know the preparation procedure and tips. So I suggest that those fellows who succeeded in their petitions write their valuble experiences and post them here so that new applicants can save money, especially avoid buying legal services that make one unconfortable. These experiences should include how to collect one own publications, other people's publications citing one's work, how to prepare reference letters and petition letters, how to organize the material together, and so on.
If you prepared reference letter and petition letters yourself, you might post them online to share if there is no copy right problems
I will try to summarize my EB-1a experience to post. But I do not know if it is legal to post reference letters and petition letter here because they were prepared on the basis of sample letters provided by my lawyer. Especially, the petition letter was written by my lawyer.
