I am a J-1 visa holder and just came to the United States about 6 days ago. I went to the local international office on the second day and had no problems with registration. Right after that, the adiministor in my department was notified that my DS-2019 was canceled due to some reasons. I was told I am illeagally here now and need to go to a third country, either Canada or Mexico for re-entering to have a new visa. I am so sorry to bother all guys here. Please, please help me if you have great ideals for not doing so or other alternative ways. I appreciate all suggestion and comments. Thank you in advance. By the way, I am still in the US.
