I just checked my 485 online case status, it shows: On October 3, 2005, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 14 days have passed and you have not received the notice, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

It seems they are processing my case even after October 1. Does that mean my case could be approved after I submit my response to the RFE? Thanks!

My background: NIW 140/485 concurrent filing (NSC), RD: 03/28/2005, response to RFE for 140: 09/14/2005, AD for 140: 09/29/2005 (shown in online case status), RFE for 485: 10/03/2005
