My wife (J-1) and I (J-2) submitted I-485 (based on approved NIW I-140) to Vermont Center this September. I have just relocated to another states and mailed out the change of address to the department of homeland security at KY. Before I left for my new job at another state (which belongs to the California center), my wife and I received the notice for our biometric (finger print) appointment at local office of Vermont center. Since I am the dependent of J-1 for I-485 approval, my questions are:
1) Do I have the choice to have my finger print taken at Vermont rather than CA center?
2) Do I have to transfer my I-485 to CA center? How to do that?
3) Will transferring the case hampers the process of my I-485 at CA center, since the principal applicant locates at another Immigration center?
4) Since I sent out the new address notice, will the biometrics center at Vermont refuse to take my finger print?

Thank you very much in advance for any suggestions and input.
