My employer filed my I140 (OR) and it was approved. My I485 has been pending for more than 6 months. In this case, can I switch a job to a different company in a similar field? Does my current employer have a right to revoke my approved I140 if they want me to stay? If my current employer does not mind whether or not I change my job, will I have a trouble when I am asked by CIS to verify my employment when they process the I485? I would be very appreciated if anyone can clarify this issue and tell me if there is any potential problem if I switch my job now.
