My wife (J-1) and I (J-2) submitted I-485 (based on approved NIW I-140) to Vermont Center this September. Since then, I relocated to another state (which belongs to the California center), and already mailed out the change of address notice to the department of homeland security. Now we received the notice for our biometric (finger print) appointment at local office in Maryland.

Quesitons:
1) Should I choose California center or a local office in Maryland to have my finger print taken?
2) Do I have to transfer my I-485 to CA center? How to do that?
3) Will transferring the case to CSC have a negative impact on my I-485?

Thanks very much!
