I am just starting working on my GC. Read some materials and many previous
posts and still cannot decide which category I should apply. Here is the brief
description of my case.
Fresh Ph.D.
employed as visiting professor at a small university
10 publications in English (5 peer-reviewed including just submitted and 5
conferences)
2 publications in English but in a conference in China
(not confident about citations cause most of papers are just published or
still in review)
One university scholarship & one scholarship from professional affiliation
member of one technical committee and review several papers so far
Questions:
1. Am I qualified for EB1 (outstanding professor or researcher)? Since I am
not on a tenure-track, I don't know if I apply to this one.
2. I guess I could try NIW or special handling for college teacher. which one
will be faster?
3. What are the pros to go with EB1 rather than NIW? Like EB1 is faster?
