I just wanted to give you an update on the processing time of your I-485
adjustment application.?The USCIS just updated their processing times this
week
and they are now working on I-485 adjustment applications received in their
office as of May 1, 2005.?Therefore, since your application was received by
them in August 2005, were are looking at approximately 3 months before they
SHOULD get to your case.?However, as we previously discussed, they could pull
your case for review at any time (meaning, it could be any day now for all we
know).
As we also previously discussed, when the USCIS pulls your case for review,
they
will then send us a request for a copy of your VisaScreen Certificate, which
we
will be required to provide within 12 weeks from the date of the request
(meaning, giving time for the request to reach us, we will have approximately
10
weeks to send it in).?Therefore, as we have previously stated, you need to be
aggressively pursuing the issuance of your VisaScreen Certificate from ICHP so
that we are prepared to respond to the eventual request from the USCIS when it
arrives.
