My DIY NIW application was sent to NSC on Sep. 29. I got a RFE now. We prepared the package based on a sample package from this forum, so we really don't know what to do for RFE. Is there any sample cover letter for RFE? What are the important things to consider to suceesfully prepare for RFE?
Here is the excerpt of the letter attachment. Anyone who has RFE experiences and is willing to take a look is highly appreciated. Can you tell how positive the application is? These words seem strong to me, and the RFE seems hard to defend. I only have a master degree so it is really hard to defend I am better and critical for the company.
"Please note that the evidence already submitted demonstrates that the proposed research employment has substantial intrinsic merit and will be national in scope. Therefore, this request is to determine that you will serve the national interest to a substantially greater degree that would an available U.S. worker having the same minimum qualifications...
Submit addtional evidence related to your ability to perform the duties of the proposed employment position. You must make a showing significantly above that necessary to prove the 'prospective national benefit' required of all alients seeking to qualify as 'exceptional'....
You must persuasively demonstrate that the national interest would be adversly affected if a labor certification were required. You must demonstrate that it would be contrary to the national interest to potentially deprive the prospective employer of your services by making available to US wokers the position you seek....
You must establish you have a past record of specific prior achivement which justifies projects of future benefit to the national interest. You must establish, in some capacity, your ability to serve the national interest to a substantially greater extent that the majority of your colleagues..."
