I initially filed LC-RIR/EB2 three years ago. It was transferred to backlog processing center early this year. After that, I did not hear any reponse about my LC. So I decided to do concurrent filing of I-140 and I-485 under NIW by myself this September after hearing retrogression. In October, I heard from my lawyer that my LC got approved. In the meantime, I got RFE for my I-140 under NIW. I am working on the RFE right now. Since my LC is already approved, my lawyer wants to proceed to I-140 in the next step. But since the lawyer did not do a good job in LC application, I don't want her to do my I-140. My question is if I file a new I-140 based on my approved LC, can I link my origially NIW-based I-485 to the LC-based I-140 if my I-140 NIW did not get approved after we reply the RFE? Please help me if you know this or had experience. Thanks a lot.
