今天收到一位法国科学的来信，他没有改我的DRAFT LETTER任何内容，只是添加了自己的介绍。不过他在回信中说“Of course I did not change your draft, I found you were very convincing.....maybe too much (devastating loss to american medicine is not too "strong" ????)，我不知该如何回答，是不是应该去掉这个，这句话是从一封信中抄来的。我该如何解释？其实我是让他修改的，请教大家如何用英文说希望你任意修改，不必介意。
还有一句：
I know well the work that Dr xxx published recently and strongly appreciate the genetic approaches he is using for studying molecular events that underlie drug addiction.
