canada immigration visa question:landing time frame 681942006-01-14 14:00:46

I just received canadian immigration visa on passport from mail yesterday.
However, under the issue date is 09/01/2006; and under expiratory date 02/08/06.

i am confused, when is the time frame that i can visit canada. I have the rest of jan available to visit canada. then i will have no vacation for half a year. can i go now?

the dates on the visa do not make anysense. if it is reverse, issue date is 02/08/06 and exp date is 09/01/06, does that mean i can not visit canada before 02/08/06?

there is no contact number i can call and ask. pls share your experience if you have simlilar situation.

In Canada,people use British English,DD/MM/YY

Issue day 09 Jan. 2006 and expiratory date 02 Aug. 2006
