I'm currently studying in a public school with H4 visa, and will graduate in 2007 spring. My questions are:
1. Do I need to switch my visa to F1 this summer in order to get an OPT after graduation? Will the employer prefer to support H1 visa for F1 rather than for H4? (I'm quite concerned about this 'cause I will have to pay a huge amount of addtional tuition fee once becoming F1)
2. Is it illegal for H4 to find an unpaid internship? Can I find a paid internship as soon as I change my visa to F1? (I heard that F1 can only work for payment after holding F1 visa for 1 year.)
