) What is the chance (percentage) for H1b transfer to get denied?

2) Is it legal to stay in US during the gap between quitting the old job and starting to work for the new employer after getting USCIS receipt of H1b transfer petition?

3) Paystub problem: H1b transferring usually requires most recent pay stubs. Does the last pay stub have to include the date when USCIS issues the receipt or some later date?
I ask this question because usually there are some kind of delay for employers issuing pay stubs, eg. the pay stub issued on Jan. 24th, 2006 indicates the period of Jan. 1st to Jan. 15th. You have to wait until Feb. 10th to get the pay stub indicating the pay period of Jan. 16th to Jan. 31st.

does USCIS usually ask for more document including the pay stub including the receipt date?

4) Is it safe to inform the old employer after getting the receipt from USCIS, or after getting the approval notice?

My family depends on me, so want to make sure everything is safe.
Thanks for any advice.
