I mailed my passport to the Canadian consulate general for the PR visa 3 weeks ago by express mail and it arrived on the next day (Jan 11th). But I haven't received anything from them yet. I also provided prepaid returning express mail envelop and I still cann't track it which means it has not been mailed yet. I am wondering what the problem can be and what I should do for it. My lawyer told me it may due to the new year break and they slow down the process. But it is little bit too long as lots of people here say it only took them about 1 week to get the passport back. I am worrying that they lost my passport which will be really a headache. Thanks a lot for any suggestions.
