Am I out of status? Please help H1 question. YY~.~2006-02-10 00:31:13

I have an interview tomorrow and this is driving me nuts.

I was laid off last December and my last regular paycheck was at 12/15/2005. The company pays biweekly. I received the severance on 1/15/2006.

Does this means I am out of status or is my deadline on 02/15/2006 to change status?
