Right now I am holding H1 visa with I-485 pending. My wife is the primary applicant for our green card. The I-140 was approved April 2005, and we did fingerprint in June 2005, but due to the cutting off date our I-485 still pending.
Here is my question:
I am planning to go back to school as a full time student,
1st, is it possible for me to keep H1 status if I work part time for my current employer after I get back to school (work one day per week)?
2nd, If I can't keep H1 status, is I-485 pending status OK for me to be a student? Shall I apply for EAD to go back to school?
