My hu*****and started the GC process in November 2003 and got his GC in December 2004. I submitted I-485 at the same time as he did as derivative. But due to name check, my case hasn't been approved yet. And because of the priority date, I don't foresee it to be approved any time soon.
After he got his GC, our marriage hit a rock and we decided to go our separte ways. We are now separated. I'm using EAD based on that pending 485 as work permit.
My question for experts on this forum is that is there anyway for me to get the GC if we get divorced before my case approved. (We've been married for almost six years, so should be no doubt about the validity of the marriage.)
