我刚补了485的体检报告, 看到网上update了我的信息:
On February 14, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 365 and 540 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.
该怎么理解这段话呢? 我是2005年九月底递的140/485, NIW, Vermont Center, PD is Oct, 17 2005. 2006年一月份批的140, 二月初被通知补交体检报告. 这里所说的preliminary processing was complete 是指什么呢? 是说name check 或 background check 吗? 听说那是最花时间的步骤. 还有, 这里说一般要用一年到一年半的时间来处理, 还可能少于这个时间, 可这排期才到2002年啊, 又怎么理解呢? 是不是所有的485的Case, 都会收到这样的模板回复啊? 有点迷惑, 不知有没有同样经验的或熟悉这方面情况的朋友能给我解释一下? 多谢了!
