EB3 I-485 pending, need to do H1B or not? thanks flintstone2006-03-07 21:20:48

I am EB3. I-485 was sent on Nov 2004. FP is done by April 2005. Now I am still waiting. My H1B will expire this Sep 2006. I will renew my EAD card this month. Is it necessary to renew my H1B too?

My attorney thinks that it is not necessary for me to renew my H1B because I have my EAD. Can somebody tell me what is the risk here if I do not renew my H1B?
