My wife got arrested when she just arrived US. The pocily imposed a crime charge on her. Since there is no specific evidence, actually the whole story is just funny, the judge gave her a ACD, meaning Dismissal after 6 Month. The case materials have been sealed by the court. The lawyer said without your permission nobody can open the case and check the material again.
WOuld you advise me if this case may affect my wife's GC application? Now I and my wife are waiting for I485. If there is an interview, should we tell the immigration officer the whole story? I think we don't need to tell him/her because the case has been sealed, am I right?
