My H1 started in 2002, and will expire in 2008. I applied GC 2 years ago, then I lost my last job. So I have to either apply GC by myself again, or join my hu*****and's application.
My hu*****and's company can sponsor his GC, but for some reason, they have to do EB3 for him.
My question is do I need to apply GC by myself( have to pay all the cost by myself)? I heard PERM + 140+EAD won't take more than 2 years, and with EAD, I don't even need to extend my H1, and still can work for any employer, is that right?
