My company opened a branch in another city, and my boss decided to relocate me. Now, the problem is that my current wage is higher than the current city prevailing wage, but much lower than the prevailing wage in the new city, over 10k differences. So, In this case, if I want to transfer my h1b, should I talk to HR to increase my salary first and get my new pay-stub before I send my h1b application, or it is OK that I give the old pay-stub(the one that is ok with current city, but not the new city)? Is there a new starting date I can request, so that I can negociate with HR and put a notes in the application showing that once I'm in the new city and they will pay what we negociated? Thank you very much in advance!
