My situation is : I am a H1b in a university with I-485 pending (I-140 approved, I am the principal applicant). This year, I got an admission from a PHD program that I really want to take, but I was wondering if it is Ok for me to use my EAD to work as a RA (half-time) and study full-time? The PHD major is in the same area of my I-140 application (self-spnsored NIW). What is the risk of doing this?
