In a rush last September when I filed the I-485 form for my son, a dependent of mine, I put his English name as the first name, his Chinese given name as middle name, without any thinking about the impact at all. I just wanted to keep his name on I-485 the same as his school record. However on his I-94 and H4 approval notice, as well as passport, there is no record about his English name at all. Now I am worried about the inconsistency of his names. I wonder whether the USCIS will deny his I-485 application because of this, or even if the USCIS does issue him a green card, will he get any problems at the US custom.
Anybody has experience with this? Any advice/suggestions will be highly appreciated.
