H-1B holder in USA, no visa stamping (3 year H-1B extension
from April,2005 to March, 2008, the first time is only
1 year from 2004-2005), I-94 card extension
is the same as H-1B.
I heard if H-1B status and I-94 card is valid, so I could
enter Canada and return to USA without applying for a USA entry visa
if I donot surrender my I-94 card to custom office.
So planning to go to Canada to meet BF and get married there(BF
is now in China). Now there are several questions and hope to
get your help, many thanks!
1. Is it OK if I donot surrender my I-94 card?
If they ask me to submit I-94 card, so can I refuse?
2. Must I apply for Canda entry visa?
If so, what visa I must apply for? How long it will
take to get such visa? How to apply for it?
