immigration to Canada through Federal or Quebec Option? onedime2006-05-01 21:32:06

What's difference between immigrate to CA through Federal Option (18 or more months) while via Quebec Option is about 7 months? How will it affect the landing in CA and living in CA? If I apply through Quebec option, do I have to live in Montreal or can I live in Toronto, or BC, even my application use the Quebec option? Thanks for advicing a newbie.
